Rockford’s Family Peace Centers opens for appointments

ROCKFORD – Rockford’s long-awaited Family Peace Center will start offering appointment Monday, July 20.

Those experiencing domestic or sexual violence and need help may call 779-348-7600 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and be connected with services.

“The Family Peace Center is a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary co-located service center that provides services to victims of inter-personal violence,” the City of  Rockford posted on its Facebook.

Service providers from throughout the community provide services from this one location. The facility focuses on reducing the number of times survivors tell their story and the number of places survivors must go for help, and increases access to services and support for survivors and their children.

The Family Peace Center is at 313 N. Main St., across from the Coronado Performing Arts Center.
