WATCH: Major League Baseball is back

NEW YORK – Major League Baseball kicks off its coronavirus-shortened, 60-game season Thursday as the New York Yankees visit the Washington Nationals.

The MLB Central crew makes their 2020 season predictions, including MVP, Cy Young and division titles.

This year marks the first time in nearly 20 years that a MLB games were suspended because of a national emergency. The league last suspended games in 2001 following the Sept. 11 attacks.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is slated to throw out the first pitch in Washington tonight.  The Brooklyn native lives in the nation’s capital and is fan of the Nationals and Yankees.
