Rockford’s Laser Quest closes permanently
ROCKFORD — The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed another Rockford business.
Laser Quest, 293 Executive Parkway, announced on Facebook Tuesday that is now closed permanently.
“As much as we wanted to re-open, the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting uncertain economic climate have made the continued operation of our location next to impossible,” the business posted.
The laser tag facility was a popular attraction in Rockford for 27 years. It drew birthday parties, day camps and youth group events, plus numerous corporate and educational outings.
“As we bid farewell, we at laser quest want to that each and eryone of you fo your sport thought the years,” the company said.
Laser Quest was one of three laser tag facilities in the Rockford area. The facility at Volcano Falls in Loves Park is the only attraction in the park that remains closed because of COVID-19. There is multi-level laser-tag at Tilted 10, inside the CherryVale Mall.
