Loves Park aldermen approve grant to assist hospitality businesses

LOVES PARK — On Monday, Jan.25 the Loves Park City Council approved $292,500 of local economic development funds to assist local hospitality businesses.

This funding is part of the City of Loves Park Hospitality Grant program announced earlier this mont.

This funding will provide assistance to 50 restaurants, bars, and gaming establishments, located in the City of Loves Park, that have been hit hard financially by the statewide COVID-19 mitigation measures imposed by the State of Illinois,”  Economic Development & Planning Manager Nathan Bruck said in a release. “The City of Loves Park is proud to be able to support and provide economic assistance to our business partners in the hospitality industry when they need it the most.”
