Blackhawks recall six players, send four to Rockford
CHICAGO — The Chicago Blackhawks announced Tuesday that they have reassigned
forwards Reese Johnson and Mackenzie Entwistle and defensemen Nicolas Beaudin, Madison Bowey, Lucas Carlsson and Wyatt Kalynuk to their taxi squad.
Forwards Mikael Hakkarainen, Brandon Pirri and John Quenneville, along with defenseman Alec Regula were re-assigned to Rockford.
The IceHogs open a home-and-home weekend series against the Chicago Wolves at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 27, in Hoffman Estates, and return to the BMO Harris Bank Center Sunday, March 28. Opening faceoff is at 4 p.m.
Entwistle, 21, is expected become the 128th Rockford IceHogs alumni to reach the National Hockey League and the 97th IceHogs player to go from the IceHogs to the Blackhawks when the parent battles the Florida Panthers tonight at the United Center.
