Three suspects sought in Rockford home invasion

ROCKFORD–Police detectives are on the lookout for three men they say committed a home invasion Tuesday on the city’s west side.

At around 8:35 p.m., officers of the Rockford Police Department responded to 226 Cole Ave., in reference to speak to a victim who told dispatchers he had been robbed at gunpoint.

The victim was working inside the residence when two male suspects entered, pointed a gun at him and demanded his money. A third suspect remained outside. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.




The victim cooperated and was not injured. No shots were fired.
